“Fleurs” HUF Magazine, May 2014

Uncategorized

I am so excited to finally be able to share this collection with you all!

I think that beauty has many facets and is everywhere around us. This editorial focused on my personal adoration of flowers and woman’s ultimate beauty.

I associate a flower’s fragile and strong beauty to a woman. Fresh. Colorful. Fragile. Fleeting.

The vivid color palette was enhanced with bold washes of hand applied pastel chalk to the hair. Each slide featured complimentary tones to enhance the various flower headpieces constructed on set.

Beauty cream foundation from Bobbi Brown was mixed with Boscia Tsubaki Beauty Oil to create an ethereal glow. I found my supply at http://www.sephora.com

Custom lip colors to close enhance each flower were mixed on set using OCC Makeup Lip Tars. I order mine from http://www.occmakeup.com

The eye shadows and blush were custom blended using the Makeup Forever Flash Palette. You can find it at a boutique near you or at http://www.makeupforever.com

Each slide featured a bold hair color as seen on fashion runways. The use of color by lead hairstylists transforms and adds a pop of flair! I bought mine at http://global.kryolan.com/product/color-spray

I hope you enjoy the collection as much as we did by creating it!
