Feeling a little under the weather? Feeling stressed? Over indulged?
Early call times, creativity spending, and hectic schedules drain energy so this is what I do to help me refocus and rebalance. I just turn to a quick 3 day cleanse to get glowing skin, take a break to reflect, and pay attention to my body.
I followed http://www.justonjuice.com for tips and recipes for this plan.
Here are some personal tips I have come across while going through this process:
* Upon arising, squeeze 1 lemon into a glass of warm water. Lemon helps purify the body
* Make sure you drink at least 16 oz of water after each juice to aid in a “full feeling” and help detoxify
* You might experience a dull headache. This is normal as your body is detoxing and you can experience withdrawals from toxins, sugar, caffeine, and carbs. **Please check with your doctor to ensure you are able to fast**
*Buy organic when at all possible
* Always was your fruits and vegetables prior to juicing
* I found my juicer at Target. I have had it for 3 years and is great! Here is the link: http:// http://m.target.com/p/omega-1000-centrifugal-juicer/-/A-570602#prodSlot=medium_1_33&term=juicer
* I juice a day’s worth of juices and keep them refrigerated. I like to store my day’s juices in glass bottles instead of plastic, which has BPA and chemicals. I found mine at a dollar store in the Mason jar aisle
